This song has become a signature duet that my Mother and I have been singing for people when I drag her up on stage after a LOT of coaxing. She always protests that her voice is not in good shape. Regardless of her excuses of not being up to par she always nails it and sounds like an angel. I'm thrilled to have recorded a song while we still had the chance that will always immortalize us being together, at least in song. She wasn't feeling the greatest at the time we did as she was coming down with a touch of the flu so we never had a chance to record more than a couple of takes and we did them side by side so no vocal editing could really be done to smooth out some coordination between our vocals but still, I can say I captured a moment in time together forever in the very special way that we shared something that connected us in a way that was different then just mother and son. Hopefully she will still be singing it with me in
person for quite a while yet.
