I was never that interested in pushing my own material as I just loved doing covers and I loved having the variety and versatility of all genres, but I have to say this one I am particularly proud of because it is written as a tribute to my mother and her musical guidance vocally and I know her guiding light will always be there to help me along the way whether she is still with us or
when she eventually passes on as we all must.
It's no small worry that day will come all too soon but I am very relieved to see history did not repeat itself as her mother unfortunately died just prior to the release of The Waters of Iona which came out in 82. Love you mom. Thank you for the gift of song.
