Classic oldie from the Platters. I had the great pleasure of not only meeting but singing on stage with the great Sonny Turner who was one of the lead singers of the group. This was in Vegas about 20 years ago or so...hard to believe it was that far back.
A very special dedication goes out to Anthony Ennis and his mom Sandra Marguerite Cranford (Ennis being her maiden name).
She rarely saw me perform live as she wasn't a big drinker and didn't tend to frequent clubs, but one time she asked me for this so I never forgot. RIP to another lovely soul I had the pleasure of meeting and also I thank her for giving me a reason and opportunity to tour a bit throughout Newfoundland for the first time as a visitor.
This song is also an all-time favourite of my Aunt Pat's along with Yesterday's Dreams, so I made sure they were back to back. XO.
